I have spent a lot of time at weddings. My father is a minister and has performed hundreds--perhaps thousands!--of wedding ceremonies in his 50+ years of ministry. Because of that, I have had many opportunities to be involved in weddings, as a soloist, a sound engineer and as a photographer. This familiarity has proven to be valuable! Understanding the solemnity and significance of a wedding ceremony, the beauty of a relationship's pinnacle of celebration, and the sensitivity to move through such a momentous event without detracting from it or changing it. These are all such an integral part of my wedding photography work.

My 20+ years of photography experience includes nearly every facet of the industry: photojournalism, fashion, glamour, artistic/conceptual, portraiture, industrial, commercial, product and aerial. Every one of these styles--except, perhaps, aerial!--contribute to my overall approach to destination wedding photography. Capturing the intimacy, spontaneity, beauty and propriety of a wedding event is an honour and a responsibility that I do not take lightly.
